Kaitiaki for the Northern Regional Association is appointed on contract by the Northern Baptist Association Board.
This role exists to strengthen, resource and provide vision for churches in the very important area of ministry with children and families both in their own faith communities and in their neighbourhoods.
Our current leader
Kia ora,
I have served in this role since 2009 and I am passionate about coming alongside churches to share ideas as to how they can disciple children well within the context of their faith community. I have also provided specific training for leaders and visioning for church elders and pastors. The Northern Association churches are very varied in shape and size. I have personally had experience in leading both large and small children’s ministries and love to hear about each unique context and help ministry leaders to find ways to minister effectively in each context. I also run cluster groups in each area of Auckland and by Zoom, as collectively our leaders have so much wisdom and experience to share with one another. Together we are better!
